Questions about MyaGuide Reception

What happens if Mya cannot answer?

Mya does not guess. If the answer is not available in the information published by your organisation, Mya tells the resident that she cannot answer and directs them to staff where appropriate.

Which devices can residents use?

Any phone, tablet or computer with a web browser. Residents simply scan the QR code or open the Guide link. No app is required.

Do residents need an account?

No. Residents can use the Guide and ask Mya questions without creating an account or profile.

How are translations managed?

Your team maintains the information in its own language. MyaGuide automatically makes published information available in the supported resident languages, so your team does not need to maintain separate translations.

Can we manage multiple reception locations?

Yes. Your organisation can manage multiple reception locations from one account. Shared information can be used across locations, while each location can also have its own practical information, announcements, news and activities.

Does Mya provide medical or legal advice?

No. Mya can explain practical information published by your organisation, such as where to find medical or legal support, opening hours or how to make an appointment. Personal medical or legal questions should be handled by staff or qualified professionals.
